1. The license
A paid license allows you to install and use QuietTranscribe on the number of computers included in the selected plan. The software is licensed, not sold. The checkout shown on this website is a demonstration and does not complete a purchase.
2. Your recordings
You keep ownership of your audio, transcripts, minutes, and action plans. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to record and process that material. QuietTranscribe leaves an imported original file unchanged and stores application recordings in your user folder.
3. Models
Transcription uses a model installed on your computer. You choose whether to download one. Model recommendations and time estimates depend on your hardware and the selected processing preference. Speech recognition and translation can be wrong, so review the output before relying on it.
4. Acceptable use
You may not redistribute the application, share license keys outside the licensed computers, bypass licensing controls, or use the software to break the law or infringe someone else’s rights.
5. Ownership of the product
QuietTranscribe, its logo, interface, and software remain the property of their owners. These terms do not transfer that ownership.
6. Availability
Features can change between versions. A one-time license covers the licensed version and its maintenance updates.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, QuietTranscribe is provided as available, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost recordings, or decisions made from an unreviewed transcript.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
