1. The desktop application
QuietTranscribe processes supported recordings on the computer where the application is installed. Audio and transcripts stay on that computer. An internet connection is used only if you choose to download a transcription model. Recordings and transcripts are kept in your user folder.
2. Information you send us
If you contact us or buy a license, we may receive your name, email address, message, billing details, and order information. The checkout and contact forms on this website are demonstrations and do not currently submit or store that information.
3. Website operation
The website may process limited technical information required to deliver pages securely, such as IP address, browser type, and the time of a request. We use that information to operate, protect, and understand the reliability of the site.
4. Payments
When payment processing is enabled, card details will be handled by the payment provider. QuietTranscribe does not intend to store complete card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.
5. Use and sharing
Information you send is used to deliver a license, answer a request, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process it only to perform those functions.
6. Retention and your requests
Information is kept only for as long as the purpose requires. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information by using the contact page.
